Senior Business Planning Analyst

Seeking a strategic finance professional who excels at transforming data into actionable insights? At Spectrum, the Senior Business Planning Analyst plays a key role in steering financial performance through advanced budgeting, forecasting and analysis. You will mentor junior team members and partner across departments to influence impactful business decisions that drive operational excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Conduct advanced trend and variance analyses of operational budgets, generating reports and dashboards to track spending and drive KPIs
• Serve as the forecasting subject matter expert, interpreting results and assumptions while building and maintaining financial models
• Identify and quantify opportunities for cost optimization, managing the end-to-end operating expense variance process to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
• Research market trends and assess risks, translating findings into actionable recommendations for leadership
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Procurement teams to align drivers and assumptions, presenting insights that influence strategic direction
• Mentor junior analysts, review deliverables for quality and standardize methods, templates and controls for analysis and forecasting

Required Qualifications  

Education  

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience  

• 5+ years of business planning or financial analysis experience

Skills  

• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
