Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer<br />Location: Fakenham<br />Salary: 35-42k Technique Recruitment Solutions Ltd are a specialist Engineering &amp; manufacturing Recruitment company based in Norwich. Our client have a permanent position for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialised lifting equipment company.

The Role<br />Experienced mechanical design engineer required to develop customised products for a small, friendly company dealing in an international marketplace.<br />Creation of overall design and assembly drawings to define customer requirements,<br />Generation of detailed manufacturing drawings for internal or external production,<br />Creation of BOM for special products and procurement as required<br />Customer liaison for projects<br />Liaison with Workshop Supervisor to ensure projects are fulfilled on time<br />Continuous Improvement of existing products Important Skills<br />A sound background in mechanical engineering, with good knowledge of mechanisms, fabricated assemblies and sheet metalwork<br />The ability to quickly and effectively design customised variants from a standard product range,<br />The ability to prioritise workload and deal efficiently with multiple projects.
