SC Clearance - Business Data Consultant - UK

Introduction

Neem are responding to a ITT for a large Database and Analysis project to comply with legislative requirements.

The purpose of the project is to deliver models and datasets and to assess compliance outcomes for a large volume of records.

Responsibilities

• Support policy development by providing robust evidence, collaborating closely with policy officials and analysts to produce impactful analysis to shape policy and operational decisions.
• Communicate data insights with a range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, including establishing a network of internal stakeholders and decision-makers to support informed, timely decision-making by escalating risks and issues appropriately and devising creative solutions.
• Support risk management within the context of expedited delivery of the data backlog.

Essential Skills and Experience

Google Cloud Platform Vehicle Data Analysis Project

• Individual must be currently SC cleared.
• Experience of Large-Scale Data Analysis and Data base Projects
• Ability to communicate data outputs clearly to non-specialist audiences.
• Support policy development by providing robust evidence, collaborating closely with policy officials and analysts to produce impactful analysis to shape policy and operational decisions.
• Communicate data insights with a range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to interpret and evidence database development and data management outputs, including data lineage, data modelling, and audit/debugging findings, to inform robust policy analysis
• Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, including establishing a network of internal stakeholders and decision-makers to support informed, timely decision-making by escalating risks and issues appropriately and devising creative solutions

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Confidence in managing large databases, across ingest, cleaning and processing, joining and aggregating, and querying and retrieval
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud data tools, including Google Cloud Storage Buckets, Data transfers, and BigQuery
• Competency in the use of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in R or Python to support data communication, validation, and assurance
