The Role • Constructing supply lines and house connections for gas, water, and district heating. • Performing repair, maintenance, and upkeep on utility networks. • Independently assembling PEHD, steel, cast iron, and PVC pipes of various dimensions. • Producing X-ray safe welds according to quality specifications on construction sites. • Aligning metal structures using tack welding and final welding based on technical drawings and isometrics. • Managing pipe logs and documentation, and assisting with quality control. What You'll Need • Vocational training as a pipe fitter, metalworker, construction mechanic, welding technician, or plant mechanic, with experience in pipeline construction. • Ideally, several years of professional experience in pipeline construction. • Welding certification according to DIN EN ISO 9606-1 and GW 350 (E-hand welding method (111) for pipes) is desirable. • A valid Class B driver's license; Class C1 and C1E are advantageous. • German language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level. • Independent, dedicated, and motivated work style, coupled with reliability, communication, and teamwork skills.
