Selenium Automation Tester (Fulltime - Charlotte, NC)

We are seeking a Senior Selenium Automation Tester / QA Automation Architect with 10+ years of experience in software testing and Java-based automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, Cypress, API testing, and CI/CD automation. Banking experience is mandatory, with payments processing, ACH, or card transaction experience preferred. The candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable automation frameworks and leading UI, API, backend, Kafka, and ETL testing. Strong knowledge of Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, JMeter, Kafka, SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle is required. Experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, Appium, microservices, and RESTful services is highly desirable. The role involves test planning, framework development, defect triage, code reviews, automation strategy, and mentoring QA teams. Candidates should have excellent troubleshooting, documentation, Agile, regression testing, and communication skills.

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Lead UI, API, integration, regression, UAT, and cross-browser testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, and SoapUI.
• Validate Kafka messaging and event-driven systems.
• Perform ETL and backend data validation using SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Test ACH and card transactions within banking/payment systems.
• Integrate automation frameworks with Jenkins/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud testing.
• Perform mobile automation using Appium.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
• Mentor QA engineers and conduct automation code reviews.
• Manage defects, traceability, quality metrics, and automation ROI.
• Work closely with Agile/Scrum teams throughout sprint cycles.
• Troubleshoot application and automation failures and document defects.
