- The Opportunity: CACI is hiring a System Administrator to join our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.
The Administrator will conduct advanced hardware and software support while also providing guidance and training to end users who may be less experienced. This position will be responsible for developing technical solutions and providing support for complex systems hardware and software issues. Responsibilities
- Develops technical solution for the management for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture.
- Provides interpretation to Systems matters that are moderately complex in nature.
- Provide troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex.
- Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software. May training large groups of end users.
- Performs advance software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
- Applies advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Provides guidance to less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implantation of standard software and hardware solutions.
- Conducts advanced to complex hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configurations guidelines.
- Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience.
- Established operational plans. Manages large projects with limited oversight form manager.
- Evaluates and assesses existing systems and plans long term strategies.
- May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Qualifications: Required
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience Desired:
- Deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following: Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment; Experience with Amazon Web Services; Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired); Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS; CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps; Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
