Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid/Remote)

Touchstone Communities is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing organization by sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent across our communities. This role is ideal for a healthcare recruiter who is energized by building relationships, influencing hiring decisions, and driving positive hiring outcomes.

This position offers a hybrid/remote work environment with opportunities to collaborate directly with leaders and support communities throughout Texas. The ideal candidate will reside within a reasonable commute of our corporate office in San Antonio and periodically be able to travel to Houston, Central Texas, or other areas as assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition. 
 
What You'll Do: 
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for assigned communities and critical positions
  • Drive measurable hiring outcomes and be accountable for recruitment performance metrics, hiring goals, and candidate conversion results
  • Support recruitment strategies in collaboration with community leaders and the Director of Talent Acquisition, ensuring consistent application of established hiring practices
  • Collaborate closely with community hiring managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment of candidate needs, position requirements, and recruitment priorities.
  • Support community HR Business Partners by providing timely updates, sharing candidate insights, and assisting in moving applicants efficiently through the hiring workflows
  • Source and engage top talent through Indeed, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment guidance
  • Maintain robust candidate pipelines and proactively identify talent for current and future openings
  • Provide on-site talent acquisition support, training, and coaching to community leaders as needed
  • Travel periodically to support job fairs, campus recruitment events, hiring events, and community workforce initiatives
  • Utilize recruiting metrics, reporting, and applicant tracking systems to drive hiring effectiveness and improve results
  • Ensure candidates receive exceptional interview experience through consistent communication and follow-up
What We're Looking For: 
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare recruiting and/or skilled nursing experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is preferred
  • Proven success in high-volume recruiting environments
  • Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence hiring decisions and drive positive recruitment outcomes
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to travel as needed to support recruitment activities and community hiring initiatives
