(Leitender) Oberarzt/ Facharzt (m/w/d) Kinder- und Jugendpsychosomatik | Essen, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a highly motivated physician to join a leading national psychiatric clinic renowned for its specialized care in psychosomatic disorders. This is an opportunity to work within a strong, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional treatment for adolescents in a supportive and innovative environment.

The Role

  • Assume leadership responsibilities within the psychosomatic youth department, with a clear path to full medical directorship.
  • Oversee clinical processes and the comprehensive psychotherapeutic treatment journey for adolescents.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the department and potentially represent the Chief Physician in a senior role.
  • Conduct supervision for pediatric and adolescent psychotherapists in training.
  • Manage patient admissions, family consultations, and interdisciplinary sessions to ensure high-quality care.

What You'll Need

  • Completed specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, or be in the 4th year of training with advanced therapeutic training.
  • A passion for interdisciplinary collaboration within a diverse team of doctors, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.
  • Experience in or a strong willingness to develop leadership skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
