Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rust Developer with 8+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in Rust programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance, scalable, and reliable software applications.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of systems programming, memory safety, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications using Rust.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and system-level software components.
• Apply Rust concepts such as ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and memory safety.
• Develop concurrent and asynchronous applications using Tokio or similar frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and system reliability.
• Integrate applications with databases, external APIs, and distributed systems.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform debugging and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure software development practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Rust.
• Excellent understanding of Rust ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and memory management.
• Experience with Cargo, Rust standard libraries, and dependency management.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, or system-level applications.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines.
