Summary:
Experienced Senior Business Analyst needed to support stabilization and troubleshooting of integrations between Workday and external benefits providers. The role bridges business stakeholders, Workday functional and technical teams, integration developers, and benefit provider teams. The analyst will investigate issues across system boundaries, trace employee and benefits transactions end-to-end, identify root causes, and drive issues toward resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and troubleshoot Workday-to-benefits-provider integrations, including inbound/outbound data, files, messages, logs, reports, and provider responses.
  2. Trace employee lifecycle, benefits, payroll, retirement, and eligibility transactions end-to-end, including hires, transfers, job changes, compensation changes, payroll events, and terminations.
  3. Perform root-cause analysis to determine whether issues originate from source data, Workday configuration, benefit plan configuration, integration logic/mapping, processing timing, or provider-side processing.
  4. Collaborate with Workday functional teams, developers, integration teams, benefits/retirement SMEs, vendors, and external providers to validate findings and implement corrective actions.
  5. Document findings, business rules, data flows, system dependencies, recommended resolutions, and maintain end-to-end data flow diagrams for in-scope integrations.
