Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking a Stability Scientist to join our Stability and Batch Release team in Columbia, Missouri. This position is ideal for an early-career scientist interested in pharmaceutical quality testing, stability programs, and GMP laboratory operations.

The Stability Scientist is responsible for performing routine and non-routine analytical testing to support product stability studies and batch release activities. Working within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment, this individual will execute testing according to established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures while ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. The successful candidate will gain experience with analytical instrumentation, laboratory investigations, and regulatory-compliant testing while working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical testing in support of product stability studies and batch release programs.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and other analytical systems.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accurately collect, review, and document data following GMP and/or GLP requirements.
  • Support study execution, data review, troubleshooting activities, and report generation.
  • Maintain laboratory organization and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and client expectations.
  • Work with increasing independence on assignments while seeking guidance as needed.
  • Experience working in a GMP and/or GLP laboratory environment.
  • Hands-on analytical chemistry experience with HPLC and/or GC instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • A desire to grow within pharmaceutical analytical testing and quality operations.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., some weekend required overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
