Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ReactJS Lead with 10+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in ReactJS to lead the development of modern, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for a leading US banking client.
The ideal candidate will combine strong front-end engineering skills with technical leadership, architecture, mentoring, and banking-domain expertise. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, UX teams, backend engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex enterprise applications using ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of front-end developers and establish development best practices.
• Design scalable and reusable React components, UI frameworks, and design systems.
• Develop responsive and accessible applications supporting high-volume banking transactions.
• Implement state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or equivalent technologies.
• Integrate React applications with RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise backend systems.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define front-end architecture and technical solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and quality standards.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on ReactJS and modern front-end engineering.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex application and production issues.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement front-end optimization strategies.
• Establish automated testing standards using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore development teams and manage technical dependencies.
• Ensure applications comply with banking security, accessibility, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 6+ years of strong hands-on ReactJS experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of React Hooks, functional components, component lifecycle, and React performance optimization.
• Extensive experience with Redux / Redux Toolkit.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI development.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with front-end architecture and enterprise application design.
• Strong experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
