The Role • Operate heavy machinery, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move and position shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. • Stack, move, and organize containers efficiently within the intermodal yard. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
