Summary: ● Seeking a senior-level applied AI engineer to design, build, and operationalize novel AI systems for cyber operations.

Qualifications && Compensation: ● 12+ years of software engineering experience — $301,440/year ● Requires B.S. in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years in lieu) Job Description: ● Architect and implement scalable, production-grade AI systems for cyber operations ● Design and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems and advanced MCP server infrastructure ● Develop prompt engineering patterns tailored to cyber and mission environments ● Build resilient integration layers to support model failures and edge scenarios ● Mentor junior developers while maintaining individual technical contribution ● Lead exploratory work on novel AI capabilities, tools, and strategies ● Prototype and ship AI-based tools with operational reliability ● Drive discussions on AI limitations, opportunities, and best practices Skills: ● Deep Python skills and hands-on experience deploying AI systems to production ● Expertise in modern AI frameworks (agents, RAG, chains, function calling) ● Strong knowledge of model orchestration, prompt engineering, and model reliability ● Experience building async and distributed systems at scale ● Nice to have: prior cyber or IC experience, model fine-tuning, AI community involvement, and adversarial AI awareness About SYSTOLIC: SYSTOLIC is dedicated to giving our employees the best possible company experience so that they can focus on providing outstanding support to their customer’s mission.
