Project Engineer

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in our Georgetown, DE office. This position is responsible for hands-on design and support of land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site design for commercial and residential projects, focusing on grading, Stormwater Management (SWM),and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC).
• Produce comprehensive construction documents and technical reports utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate directly with regulatory agencies to navigate and secure necessary project permits.
• Manage project schedules and deliverables for multiple simultaneous developments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges during the planning and design phases.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• PE license preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in land development (Stormwater Management (SWM), Storm Drain, Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design)
• Water resources experience preferred
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, including schedules and permitting coordination
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required (Civil 3D preferred).
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and permitting preferred
