Senior Linux Engineer with Security Clearance

We're looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join our growing team to help us build, ship, and secure world class, mission critical systems deployed across a variety of platforms and environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands on experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems that run on Linux, preferably RHEL. Some of what you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain server and network infrastructure running on the Linux operating system (we use mostly RHEL).
• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
• May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
• Support functional and system level testing Requirements Skills and experience you bring:
• 4+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering or administration in a high-availability production environment.
• Deep knowledge of Linux distribution internals (RHEL/CentOS ecosystem or Debian/Ubuntu).
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience with post-mortem documentation.
• Ability to obtain US Secret clearance
• US Citizen Nice to have:
• Big plus: RedHat Certifications (RHCE, RHCA, etc)
• Experience in DevSecOps
• Understanding of Linux networking and network troubleshooting
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with STIG compliance and security applications
• Exposure to cybersecurity principles
• B.S. in STEM or engineering field (Software, Math, Physics, Electrical, etc.)
• Active US Secret clearance
