Software Engineering Manager, Patient Payment Systems

Athenahealth seeks an Engineering Manager, Patient Payment to lead a team building cloud-based payment solutions that improve how patients pay for care. You will guide engineers in designing, developing, and operating secure, scalable services integrated with Athenahealth's EHR and revenue cycle platforms. Partner with product, UX, and data teams to deliver intuitive experiences, optimize payment workflows, and ensure compliance in a healthcare context. Champion engineering best practices, mentor engineers, foster a collaborative, inclusive culture, and continuously improve quality, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities
