The Role • Deliver key Warship Technical Authority (WTA) service elements across platform systems, including design change and technical assurance. • Provide mechanical engineering support for diverse platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services. • Contribute engineering input to multiple projects, encompassing CSM platforms and international naval programmes. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage platform system requirements. • Support investigations and analyses to enable evidence-based technical decisions for system design integrity. • Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control. What You'll Need • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems within UK and international markets. • Understanding of applicable industry standards and governance frameworks (CSM, LCM). • Ability to rapidly and confidently apply mechanical engineering knowledge across various platform systems and equipment. • Experienced professional engineer at CEng level or equivalent capability. • Proven ability to provide effective technical guidance and influence to support junior engineers.
