The Role:

  • You will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
  • You will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
  • You will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • You will contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental resources.
  • You will participate in school-wide activities and initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You will be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a passion for English.
  • You will have a proven track record of successful teaching in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • You will possess excellent subject knowledge and a deep understanding of effective pedagogical approaches.
  • You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to raising student attainment.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
