Senior Desktop Engineer (Endpoint & M365 Focus)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Onsite)

Role Overview

This is a hybrid role that combines endpoint engineering, junior systems engineering, and Microsoft 365 engineering. The Senior Desktop Engineer will own and support enterprise endpoint technologies and Microsoft collaboration platforms. This position serves as a technical escalation point and a mentor for junior engineers, playing a key part in a close-knit team environment where personality and cultural fit are important.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the enterprise endpoint environment, including Intune and endpoint modernization efforts.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
  • Manage mobile devices, tablets, thin clients, and virtual workstations.
  • Lead workstation lifecycle management projects and hardware refreshes.
  • Support security, access management, and Microsoft Entra ID initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Information Security on access management and endpoint security improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex, multi-site enterprise issues, providing advanced root cause analysis.
  • Serve as a technical owner or subject matter expert for assigned enterprise applications.
  • Work directly with operational leaders, physicians, nurses, and department managers.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers and technicians.
Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of related experience in IT support. Experience with Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Endpoint Management is required. Microsoft 365 Administration experience, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, is also necessary. A proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams is needed.

Education: An Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Two years of enterprise-level experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Other: A valid driver's license, Motor Vehicle Report, and proof of vehicle liability insurance will be required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Technical proficiency with Workspace ONE, Citrix Workspace, Imprivata, iGEL, RightFax, or Bomgar.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. The role is 100% onsite for the initial contract period. After converting to a full-time employee, a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days remote per week is possible based on performance and team trust.
