Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Dell Boomi Consultant to lead the assessment, architecture, and migration of enterprise integrations from Oracle SOA Suite to the Boomi Enterprise Platform.

This role will serve as the technical lead for the integration modernization initiative, partnering closely with business stakeholders, application teams, enterprise architects, infrastructure, security, and development teams. The consultant will be responsible for defining the migration strategy, evaluating existing Oracle SOA integrations, designing target-state Boomi architecture, and delivering secure, scalable, reusable, and supportable integrations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Dell Boomi and Oracle SOA Suite, with a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, SOA, APIs, cloud integration, security, runtime architecture, and migration methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise integration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Dell Boomi development and architecture experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise integration migrations from Oracle SOA Suite to Boomi or another modern integration platform.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, including:
  • BPEL
  • Mediator
  • Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
  • Web Services Manager (OWSM)
  • Adapters
  • Transformations
  • Composite applications
• Advanced experience with Boomi Integration, API Management, runtime architecture, deployment, monitoring, and administration.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
  • API-led integration
  • Canonical data models
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, WSDL, SQL, SFTP, JMS, web services, and message-based integrations.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, SaaS, cloud, database, custom, and legacy enterprise applications.
• Experience designing reusable integration frameworks, centralized error handling, monitoring, alerting, and exception-management processes.
• Strong understanding of integration security, network connectivity, certificates, authentication, authorization, and data-protection requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, environment management, automated deployment, and release governance.
• Ability to analyze complex Oracle SOA implementations and produce accurate migration estimates, dependency maps, risk assessments, and implementation plans.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent ability to lead technical workshops and communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences.
