Special Education Needs Tutor | Chichester, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to join an impact-driven organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to make a real difference within your community, working flexibly and creatively to support vulnerable learners.

The Role

  • Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
  • Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
  • Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
  • Work with schools and local authorities to transform the lives of disengaged and at-risk learners.
  • Engage in a self-employed capacity, as and when opportunities arise.

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
  • 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
  • Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
  • Two or more professional references.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
