Job Description

GWA Group is a leading innovator, designer, importer and supplier of sustainable water solutions for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries across residential and commercial spaces. With our iconic brands Caroma, Methven, and operations spanning Australia, New Zealand and the UK, we're shaping a better, more sustainable future, one solution at a time. Use your plumbing knowledge in a Monday-to-Friday role At GWA Group, home to Caroma, Methven, Clark and Dorf, we're looking for someone with a solid understanding of plumbing products, systems and the trade - whether that knowledge comes from working on the tools, behind a trade counter, in a merchant branch, or in a technical or sales support role. This role is often the first point of contact when plumbers, contractors and merchants need technical advice, troubleshooting support or product guidance. You'll use your product knowledge every day while building a long term career with one of Australia's most recognised bathroom and kitchen businesses.

What you'll be doing
  • Taking calls and emails from plumbers, merchants and customers
  • Providing technical advice and product support across our range
  • Diagnosing product issues and helping find practical solutions
  • Managing enquiries through to resolution
  • Recording information accurately in our systems
  • Working closely with Customer Service, Sales and Product teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how we support customers
What we're looking for
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing products and systems - however you've gained it
  • Experience working within the plumbing industry in any capacity
  • Comfortable speaking with tradespeople and customers over the phone
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries at once
  • Confidence using computer systems and technology
  • You may currently be: Working at a plumbing merchant such as Reece, Tradelink, Plumbers Co op, Plumbing Plus or similar
  • In a trade counter, internal sales or customer support role within the plumbing or building products industry
  • A plumber or apprentice looking to move off the tools into a Monday to Friday role
  • Working in technical support, product support or warranty for a plumbing or building products business
  • Looking for a role where your plumbing product knowledge is genuinely valued
Why join GWA?
  • Work with iconic brands including Caroma, & Methven
  • Monday to Friday role - no weekends, no tools
  • Use your trade and product knowledge in a professional environment
  • Learn from an experienced technical team
  • Career opportunities across Technical Services and Sales
  • Product discounts
  • Hybrid working model - Prestons based. Parking on site.

Ready for something different? If you have a solid understanding of plumbing products and enjoy helping people solve problems, we'd love to hear from you - whether your background is from the trade, a merchant, a supplier or a support role.

Please note: You must be a citizen, permanent resident or hold all the relevant employment visas and other approvals for the location and duration of this position to apply for this role.
