Maintenance Mechanic - Williams, CA

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a long-term, full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Williams, CA. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing mechanical repairs to keep industrial machinery operating properly.

Pay: $22-$35/hour, depending on experience
Job Duties

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect machinery and identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, valves, and other equipment components.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete necessary repairs.
• Assist with equipment installation, setup, and adjustments.
• Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, and other maintenance repairs as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Read and reference equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience working with industrial machinery or production equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in various positions.
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment.
• Ability to work around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
