About the Role

We are seeking a commercially astute Project Surveyor with strong client‑facing skills and financial acumen. You will play a key role in managing commercial risk, ensuring project profitability, and supporting the successful delivery of high‑value decarbonisation projects while building trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance and sustainability targets are met

  • Produce accurate cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Identify cost efficiencies that align with decarbonisation objectives

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
  • Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding

Desirable

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
  • Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability‑focused projects
