About the Role
We are seeking a commercially astute Project Surveyor with strong client‑facing skills and financial acumen. You will play a key role in managing commercial risk, ensuring project profitability, and supporting the successful delivery of high‑value decarbonisation projects while building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance and sustainability targets are met
Produce accurate cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Identify cost efficiencies that align with decarbonisation objectives
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
- Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding
Desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
- Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability‑focused projects
