Special Education Needs Tutor | Liverpool, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for an impact-driven organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored support and make a significant difference in communities.

The Role

• Provide tailored Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils from KS1 to KS5.
• Plan and report on lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Support children and young people with a range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Engage in in-person, online, or hybrid tutoring sessions as required.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2 professional references.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
• Ability to work in the UK.
