This job is located in Tempe, Arizona and you must be able to commute into the office.

What You Get to Do:

The Payroll Tax Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate tax payment and filing operation. Sequoia One is our newest service offering, providing HR outsourcing to help tech startups grow quickly and safely.

  • Manage incoming tax correspondence received via email, US mail, DocuSign, RightSignature, etc. in a timely manner.

  • Support tax notice resolution by uploading documents to cases, routing documents to appropriate internal teams, and properly categorizing these requests.

  • Support Payroll Tax Specialists by submitting tax documents to agencies for processing. Interface with various tax agencies to follow up on requests, obtain new account information, and help with different problem resolution activities.

  • Support new client location processing and assist with maintaining client payroll tax account information in our systems. (PrismHR, MasterTax ADP SmartCompliance, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Assist with compliance related reporting tasks for quarter-end, year-end, and other required frequencies.

  • Additional projects and tasks assigned on an as needed basis.


What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of client service or administrative experience

  • Preferred experience in a multi-client payroll tax processing setting PEO, insurance, or start-up experience is highly desirable

  • Attention to detail, organized, and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong spread sheeting and analytical skills

  • Hands-on, team player who possesses a can-do attitude

  • Experience with PrismHR, MasterTax, ADP SmartCompliance, Salesforce is a plus

  • Bachelors degree*
