Java Developer with Spring Boot, DevOps W2

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deliver full-stack features from concept to production.
2. Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular, React, TypeScript, Stencil and JavaScript.
3. Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot and Python.
4. Utilize AI-powered development tools including Kiro, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.
5. Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
6. Apply object-oriented design, Clean Code practices, and SOLID principles.
7. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
8. Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD).
9. Validate and verify AI-generated code by creating comprehensive test strategies, ensuring functional correctness, security compliance, performance standards, and maintainability before deployment to production.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum of 8+ years of professional software development experience.
2. Strong experience building full-stack web applications.
3. Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Angular, React or Stencil.
4. Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills.
5. Excellent understanding of OOP, design patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Strong Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS.
8. Strong understanding of defensive programming practices and 12-Factor App principles for microservices.
9. Deeper knowledge on relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong Java, Spring Boot, and Python experience.
2. Experience with microservices architectures and 12-Factor App principles for microservices.
3. Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend platform engineering, including web components, micro-frontend architecture, and server-side data integration patterns.
4. Ability to troubleshoot, own, and resolve build and deployment issues; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.

Experience building AI agents and the supporting tooling and harness around them.
