Senior Python Developer / AI-ML Engineer

Description:
Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer / AI-ML Engineer to design and develop scalable software, data-processing pipelines, and AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Python development experience combined with expertise in data science, machine learning, cloud platforms, and enterprise data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications and data-processing solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows using Python, Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
• Develop and implement machine learning and predictive modeling solutions using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Work with large and complex datasets to perform data analysis, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and visualization.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML models into production applications and enterprise workflows.
• Build cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS, and Redshift.
• Develop APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as Flask or similar frameworks.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL-based data platforms to support enterprise applications and reporting.
• Develop data-processing and analytics solutions involving structured and unstructured data.
• Containerize applications using Docker and work with Git-based CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop solutions involving NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and advanced machine learning where applicable.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and production support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software/data engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Python development
• Strong experience with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Experience with Machine Learning / AI
• Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar frameworks
• Strong AWS experience
• Experience with Docker, Git, Linux, and CI/CD
• Experience developing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based applications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
