Job description

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Engineer specialising in Storage and Backup, you'll join a highly technical team providing server and systems, database, applications and storage and network services to our largest Victorian customer. This team is part of a wider account of 90 crew, providing service desk and infrastructure services, into a fast paced and highly complex enterprise environment.

You will be the key engineer, maintaining storage, backup and associated systems infrastructure and will be the subject matter expert in your area.The role will see you operating across a range of BAU and project based/service improvement initiatives.

Keen to get involved? You'll just need some of the following:

Extensive experience in a similar position in an enterprise-class environment
Strong experience in EMC Storage, vSphere vSAN, Backup
High degree of competence in storage management and risk mitigation
Knowledge and experience across VMware/Windows/Solaris/Linux hosts
Strong customer facing experience with ability to produce technical requirements documentation
Experience in an ITIL based environment
Experience with AWS Glacier Storage is also highly desirable

Additional Requirements:

Australian Citizenship and an active AGSVA Clearance- required to work with our customer
