Senior SQL Performance Engineer - Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior SQL Performance Engineer to design, optimize, and
support enterprise SQL Server environments. The role focuses on database
performance tuning, SQL development, ETL/SSIS solutions, production support,
database security, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and
functions.
· Optimize SQL Server performance through query tuning, indexing, partitioning,
and monitoring.
· Manage and support production SQL databases, ensuring high availability,
reliability, and data integrity.
· Design and maintain scalable database schemas and data structures.
· Develop, support, and troubleshoot SSIS/ETL solutions for data migration,
transformation, and integration.
· Implement database security, backup, recovery, replication, and disaster
recovery strategies.
· Lead data migration and integration initiatives across multiple systems and
platforms.
· Ensure data governance, quality, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
· Provide technical leadership and support for database management, reporting,
and ERP integrations.

Required Skills:
· Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise.
· SQL performance tuning and production monitoring.
· Database design, indexing, and partitioning.
· SSIS and ETL development.
· Data migration, integration, and troubleshooting.
· Database security, backup/recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Preferred:
· Experience with SQL Server, reporting tools, or cloud data platforms.
· Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or
similar AI technologies.
