The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The Impact you will have in this role:

We are seeking a Data Scientist to analyze data, develop machine learning models, and generate insights that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, data visualization, and emerging Generative AI technologies.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Build, train, validate, and evaluate machine learning models for business use cases.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate insights.
• Prepare and transform data through cleaning, feature engineering, and quality checks.
• Apply statistical techniques and conduct A/B testing to measure business outcomes.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
• Utilize Generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Ensure data quality, governance, and responsible AI practices are followed.
• Present findings and recommendations through clear data storytelling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed for Success:

• Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
• Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and machine learning techniques (Regression, Classification, and Clustering).
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, and cloud analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts, prompt engineering, and LLMs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
