SEN / SEND Tutor | Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are hiring for an impact-driven community organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to deliver tailored support and foster positive educational journeys.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1-KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Engage with a mission to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.
• Work with a diverse range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Be part of a supportive, child-centered community committed to reimagining educational support.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (can be facilitated) and 2+ professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
