Job Description

IT Trainer - Full time role based across Torquay/Newton Abbot/Exeter - Salary up to £50,000 based on skills and exerience in a simialr role - Local travel required so own transport will be required Were working with a well-established organisationthat is looking for an experienced IT Technology Trainerto join its IT team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people get the most out of technology and wants to play a key role in transformation, IT adoption and Ai technologyacross a growing organisation. Youll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging technology training to colleagues with varying levels of technical ability. Youll work closely with the IT team and wider business to help users adopt new technology and make the most of existing systems. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and delivering classroom, remote and one-to-one technology training
  • Creating user guides, training materials, videos and quick reference guides
  • Supporting the rollout and adoption of new technology and digital initiatives
  • Delivering training around Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Supporting AI adoption and helping colleagues understand its practical applications
  • Delivering cybersecurity, phishing and technology awareness training
  • Working alongside IT and business stakeholders on digital transformation and change initiatives
  • Adapting training to suit different audiences and learning styles
  • Travelling between multiple offices as required (travel covered)
:To be considered suitale you will need the following:
  • Experience designing and delivering technology training
  • Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, digital transformation or change programmes
  • An understanding of AI and its business applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
