Aureol Global Connections is looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all safety standards. Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance checks and repairs on HGVs to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs with precision.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including fluid checks, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in transport regulations and vehicle technology.
- Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Assist in training new staff and apprentices in proper repair techniques and safety measures.
- A recognized qualification in HGV mechanics or a completed apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a related role.
- Strong diagnostic abilities to identify and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Familiarity with various tools and specialized equipment for vehicle repair.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
