Who You Are
The Financial Analyst is a detail-oriented, analytical self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves and help with a variety of tasks. They thrive in an autonomous work environment and are comfortable translating data into actionable insights, while also being able to take direction and collaborate effectively within the finance team and cross-functionally. Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills are a must.
What You’ll Do
- Support the monthly and year-end close process in partnership with the accounting team, including assisting with journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with preparing and gathering support for external audits and other financial reporting requests
- Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making across the business
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages, analyzing budget-to-actual variances and key business trends and drivers
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis on pricing, headcount, and other strategic initiatives to support leadership decision-making
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate variance analysis, reporting, and recurring data workflows
- Review expense reports and departmental spend for accuracy, policy compliance, and budget alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather data, answer financial questions, and support business planning
What You Bring to the Party
- Ideally 1-3 years of relevant financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting experience
- Understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and corporate finance principles, with familiarity with accounting principles and procedures
- Detail-oriented with strong technology skills, specifically exceptional Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling)
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP/BI/planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Tableau) a plus
- Comfort using or learning AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to support analysis and workflow efficiency
- Self-starter who can manage priorities and deliver quality work with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to continue to grow through continuing training and on-the-job experience
The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 total compensation. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
