Job Description

Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions across multiple classification domains. Lead hands-on build of core AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS. Create, manage, and harden desktop OS images in the cloud across classification domains. Define and enforce modern cloud architecture patterns including microservices, serverless, and containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes. Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated, repeatable delivery.

Integrate and enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, SSO, and federation. Develop automation, tooling, and orchestration using Python and Bash. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery to mission objectives. Experience Requirements
Active TS.
8140/8570 certification such as Security+ or above.
10+ years as a Cloud Solution Architect, Senior Cloud Engineer, or similar role focused on cloud solution design and architecture. Extensive experience leading AWS infrastructure at scale across IL5 to IL6+ domains.

Hands-on depth with AWS; Azure and/or GCP preferred. Expert skills creating and hardening cloud desktop images such as AMIs. Deep knowledge of microservices, serverless, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong IaC expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Proven implementation of cloud security controls and enterprise authN/authZ integrations. Excellent Python and Bash scripting for automation. Demonstrated problem-solving and delivery in large-scale cloud environments. Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have: AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or SysOps, and experience with low-to-high development models and tooling.
