A leading global Insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Analyst, Accounting & Regulatory Policy to join its London-based finance team. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in technical accounting, regulatory reporting oversight, acquisition accounting and policy development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a passion for technical accounting and regulatory matters who is looking to move into a broad, commercially focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and implementation of accounting and regulatory policies across the group
• Assessing the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory developments
• Producing technical accounting papers and providing guidance on complex accounting matters
• Supporting acquisition accounting and M&A-related reporting activities
• Assisting with regulatory returns and governance reporting
• Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with senior finance and regulatory stakeholders across the business

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 1+ years PQE
• Background within FAAS, Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory or Audit
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Experience or exposure to acquisition accounting, group accounting, technical accounting or revenue recognition would be highly advantageous
• Candidates moving directly from practice will be considered, particularly those with exposure to Financial Services or Insurance clients
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex accounting issues and present clear recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset
