Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team supporting a major healthcare and life sciences account with Brillio in Minnetonka, MN. In this role, you will architect, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, implement robust infrastructure-as-code standards, and drive enterprise-grade Kubernetes administration and observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform at an advanced, module-authoring level, ensuring optimal repository layout, reusability, and governance.

  • Set up, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters, handling cluster administration, scaling, and lifecycle management.

  • Design and implement end-to-end observability solutions, integrating logging, metrics, and tracing to monitor system health and performance proactively.

  • Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows, infrastructure reliability, and high availability.

  • Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security compliance, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Infrastructure as Code: Deep, hands-on expertise in Terraform module-authoring, including structured repository layouts and state management.

  • Orchestration & Containerization: Proven experience with Kubernetes setup and administration in production environments.

  • Observability: Strong background in establishing comprehensive end-to-end observability and monitoring frameworks.

  • Cloud & DevOps Ecosystem: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD integration.
