Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines for the fabrication of precision parts.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand machining requirements.
  • Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including timing, quantities, and completed work.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
