They are seeking a dynamic Laboratory Director to oversee laboratory operations and drive innovation within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The Role • Direct operations, programs, and activities to meet organizational and regulatory requirements and drive innovation. • Ensure adequate and qualified staffing through strategic hiring, orientation, and performance management. • Develop and recognize staff through coaching, regular feedback, and by serving as a role model. • Set and execute department strategies to achieve goals in service, quality, compliance, financial performance, and patient satisfaction. • Oversee the financial operations of the laboratory, monitoring resource utilization and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Ensure compliance with standards set forth by accrediting agencies such as CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, FDA, and CMS. What You'll Need • Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry. • National Certification as a Medical Technologist. • 3+ years of progressive laboratory management experience, including complex laboratory operations. • Master’s Degree is preferred. • Hospital clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
