They are seeking a driven Data Scientist to join a dynamic and growing team focused on National Security projects. The Role • Develop statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to address complex business challenges. • Construct and execute advanced database queries using SQL and API interfaces across various data sources. • Implement web scraping techniques and data processing methods for unstructured data. • Utilize automation and machine learning to manage data, predict future scenarios, and provide data-driven recommendations. • Engage with technologies such as AWS and Git in a collaborative environment. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience. • Required TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. • Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for data extraction from relational databases and APIs. • Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning and NLP, including familiarity with libraries like spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, or TensorFlow. • Solid understanding of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science concepts, data architecture, and statistical methods. • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).
