Investment Data Analyst - Boston, MA

You will help design and maintain analytical applications, data pipelines, reporting solutions, and cloud-based data services while contributing to the evolution of a modern investment analytics platform. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related field
• Strong Python skills for data analysis, automation, and application development
• Advanced SQL experience working with large, complex datasets
• Experience designing and supporting data models and analytical datasets
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience building dashboards, reports, or analytical applications
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or similar platforms
• Experience using Git and working within modern software development practices
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in investment management, financial services, asset management, or capital markets
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, or modern web technologies
• Experience working with APIs and data integrations
• Knowledge of data warehousing and enterprise data platforms
• Exposure to Kafka, Azure Event Grid, or similar messaging technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Interest in investment analytics and financial data

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Analyze large investment and operational datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
• Develop and maintain Python-based analytical tools and automation solutions
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries supporting reporting and analytics initiatives
• Build and enhance data pipelines and integration workflows
• Partner with investment and business teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
• Create and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and data products
• Support the development of internal applications and analytics platforms
• Contribute to data quality, governance, and data management initiatives
• Participate in testing, deployment, and continuous improvement efforts
• Document processes and share knowledge across teams

The Offer

• Base salary: $160,000 - $165,000
• Discretionary annual bonus
