The Role

• Implement the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process under Risk Management Framework (RMF) for information systems.
• Review assessment reports, identify security risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct manual and automated vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and technical system requirements for accreditation.
• Apply knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DoD cybersecurity policies, FISMA, and FEDRAMP.
• Implement SCAP, STIG, and hardening guidelines.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience with RMF A&A processes.
• 3+ years of experience in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus).
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-53, DoD cybersecurity policies, FISMA, or FEDRAMP.
• Knowledge of SCAP, STIG, and hardening implementation.
• TS/SCI clearance, HS diploma or GED, and a DoD 8570 IAT or IAM Level II Certification.
