Food and Beverage Attendant - Conference and Events

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travellers. Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms. The hotel also features the amazing and extremely popular venues of Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Cafe, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as KG Sports Bar.

With more than 1000m2 of conference and event space, including two large ballrooms, multiple function rooms, a rooftop bar and pool deck, we host everything from major conference trade shows to gala dinners, corporate meetings and intimate dinners.

As a Food and Beverage attendant in Conference and Events, you will: 

• Ensure friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests 

• Set up and pack down of event spaces

• Manage tea and coffee stations

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) 

• Previous experience in a similar role  

• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards 

• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation 

• Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
