Application Modernization/iSeries Developer for Leading High-Tech Manufacturing Org.
Are you an IT leader, skilled in RPG development and looking for a new challenge? Join a leading high-tech manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH, renowned for designing, engineering, fabricating, and manufacturing precision parts and tooling products. Our client is seeking a dynamic professional with solid leadership experience as well as RPG development skills on a direct hire basis. Type: Contract/Consulting with potential for direct hire
Start: August 2026

Job Duties: 
•    Provide team leadership and support for various IT initiatives.
•    Lead full-cycle application development including: planning, programming, testing and implementation.
•    Implement and troubleshoot complex programming changes and modifications.
•    Identify problems or potential problems with systems and/or clients.
•    Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Qualifications:
•    Fluent with RPG Free programming.  
•    Experience using Built-In functions, Service Programs and Subprocedures.
•    Solid knowledge programming languages commonly used in web applications.
•    Existing Source Code - follow current logic when modifying existing programs.
•    Manufacturing industry experience (preferred but not required).
