Air Conditioning Engineer

London Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Limited is an established air conditioning specialist providing installation, servicing, maintenance and repair services to residential and commercial customers throughout London. Due to continued growth, we are looking for skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineers to join our North London team. We are interested in engineers specialising in either Installation & Commissioning or Service & Repair. Expertise in both areas is welcome but not essential.

• Installation & Commissioning**:
• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
• Install refrigerant pipework, drainage, trunking and associated components.
• Carry out pressure testing, evacuation, leak testing and commissioning.
• Read installation drawings and manufacturers' specifications.
• Ensure installations are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Service, Maintenance & Repair**:
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigerant-related faults.
• Troubleshoot split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
• Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs.
• Test and recommission systems following repairs.
• Complete accurate service documentation.

• Proven hands-on experience in air conditioning installation and/or service and repair.
• Relevant F-Gas certification.
• Good technical understanding of air conditioning systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Professional attitude and good customer communication.
• Desirable**:
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and other leading manufacturers.
• Experience with VRF/VRV systems.
• Additional electrical, controls or commissioning knowledge.

• Salary of £40,000–£45,000 depending on role and experience.
