The Role

• Coordinate and manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
• Identify and propose improvements to nursing department staffing effectiveness in collaboration with nursing leaders.
• Ensure all employee and contractor files comply with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and inform nursing staff of their assigned shifts and any educational opportunities.
• Address and advise supervisors on staffing ratio issues and schedule discrepancies.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations to support departmental needs.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
• Strong communication and advisory skills to work with nursing leadership.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
