Overview

Susquehanna has an opening for an Infrastructure Services Analyst to join our growing Infrastructure Platform services team.

The Platform Services team is an integral part of the Compute and Storage Platforms organization at Susquehanna, responsible for the build, operation, and support of the server and storage platforms that form the foundation of our trading and corporate infrastructure. What you can expect from us

Exposure to platform technology: As part of the team, you will be exposed to senior engineers specializing in Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Storage, and open-source technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Grafana. As part of the role, you will partner with engineers to learn the fundamentals of their spaces and help them solve complex problems from supporting and building out new environments, evaluating and creating new applications, performance tuning, automation, and configuration management.

Address and solve challenging technical problems: At Susquehanna, we want your help to improve our environment. Partner with technologists across Susquehanna's environment to troubleshoot application, network, hardware, and other issues while learning and debating the best solution to fit the scenario.

Engage with new technology: Susquehanna is always looking at the latest technology to see where we can increase speed and performance for competitive advantage while managing risk and enhancing stability. You will have the opportunity to automate tasks and monitoring applications or work on high performance clustered environments responsible for driving our quantitative trading.

What we're looking for
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a similar technical major
  • 1-3 years of experience working on platform environment (Linux or Windows servers)
  • Previous experience with monitoring/telemetry tools such as Grafana, Nagios, CheckMK or other tools such as Ansible, Elk, Prometheus, nginx.
  • Experience in operating system management of Linux and/or Windows server
  • Familiar with basic network level TCP/IP, kernel-level, network cards functionalities
  • Exposure to scripting and automation workflow is helpful.
