Job Description

Role title: Graduate Surveyor – Affordable Housing (September 2027 start)

Salary: London: £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus

Location: London

Our highly experienced team of affordable housing experts at Savills provide innovative solutions to meet all of our clients' housing challenges and opportunities. We work with clients to enable their organisations to evolve and thrive in a rapidly changing industry.

The nationwide team of over 100 experts provide an extensive range of services to established and new for-profit providers of affordable housing, local authorities, registered social landlords (housing associations), investors, developers, banks and governing bodies.

About this role:

As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to rotate within each of the five teams in the Affordable Housing Division, obtaining a wide range of experience towards your APC. You will be exposed to clients from the outset and given the opportunity to build your network both internally and externally working with market leaders.

ROTATIONS

The affordable housing rotation may include rotations within the following teams:

General Consultancy - Asset management, Stock rationalisation

Development and Regeneration - Development appraisal & valuations, Project management

Surveying and Procurement - Surveying, Delivery of large projects

Valuation - Loan security valuations, Buy/sell site advice

Treasury and Debt Advisory - Financial consultancy, Fund raising/advice

Technical & Professional Knowledge - Demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge and understanding of the profession you are training within, the qualification you are completing, and the role you are undertaking.

- Enrol and begin active progress towards your qualification, understanding the competencies/KSBs required and maintain an up-to-date record of experience

Training:

You will have an APC supervisor and counsellor who support and guide you throughout the two year training programme.
